This court concept was so interesting and oh the art omg. There were so many beautiful shots here! Like the colors, composition and everything...the animators nailed this!

I didn't expect this design for him tbh but it's still quite good! Love the deeeeep voice too.

And this huh...assistant? Loved him

Vassago surprised me the most tbh I didn't expect his voice nor his really high boots but still great, love his cape love his design and the whole star concept.

Unexpected but cool duo! Their court design is really pretty too. I wonder if anyone with an important status has to wear these formal outfits.

The song was good too! Stola's voice actor has a surprisingly large range. I was surprised when he started singing so high but it was really well done. I didn't expect Blitz to sing too, but man, how he sounded soo good with Stolas.

Stomas looked so. Fucking. Good. During that sequence of the song. The red suits him so much.

I love how he acts here! Ynow huuh him acting like a prince for once to be more convincing

One of my favs shots. Being willing to throw his life away for someone he just had an argument with... Even he wonders why..

The wind, the cape, the red and blue- this shot is everything!

Him being restrained when he tries to reach Stolas.. quite a contrast with that one episode where Stolas was pulling him towards him with said chains.

The colors are so good. The golden feathers and starry night...The animators truly outdid themselves this time!

That shot of Stolas is so. Astonishingly pretty. Love the reddish pink, love the black.

Sorry just had to say he looks very cute here. I missed his silly hat. That design on the collar sure is interesting too.

I was happy to see Blitz being kinda awkward (idk if it was intentional) when he tried to help Stolas at fist. Like during the bath scene or when he led him to his house.

Overall I think this episode was really good! It's probably just me but I had a few problems with the pacing, like everything happened a little bit too fast/ too much stuff in a little time. Like the whole start was a bit messy,the really short sequence with Octavia and Stella felt a bit rushed... Some passages were a tad bit cliche/idk how to say it but a bit childish? Like when Stolas said he would express himself through song and some other scenes. I don't mind it too much tho, it kinda fits helluva boss anyway. Blitz beeing happy seeing imps celebrating their "victory" is nice, but I felt like it was just breaking the mood a little? I mean it is totally understandable I just felt like the way it was implemented was a bit out of place. There's also a small plothole (maybe it was me forgetting something) but there was this sequence where the sins where singing along against Stolas, like even Bee and Asmodeus? That was kinda weird as I thought they would've been on his side. Especially for Asmodeus since he already knew about Stola's case before and he himself is with an imp? Revelation wich was by the way completely ignored?

But in any case this episode was still amazing (art played a big part in this! I absolutely adored the constant switches in palettes and the different shots were very detailed and beautifully animated!)

Part of him couldn’t help but wonder if this all was a nightmare that Fearmonger had designed. Between getting shot by one of the villains there to help them, and then being left behind with Fortune Finder and whoever in the hell his gunman had transformed into, he couldn’t help but wonder. The sharp pain piercing through his chest every time he tried to take a breath though, along with the blood that shot up his throat at each attempt. was telling him otherwise. 

As Fortune leaves him, and the other villain begins pressing into the bleeding holes in his chest, he can feel himself start drift in and out of consciousness. He can’t believe he’s going to fucking die here, he thinks bitterly as he continues to struggle for air. After everything he had been through, and with so much he still wanted to do, he doesn’t want it to all end here. And he can’t help but think about Dylan as those thoughts plague what senses are still with him. She had to have thought the same, when she was trapped in that warehouse with Clint, even as she fought tooth and nail to survive. 

“H-hey...” he rasps after a moment, when he feels like he isn’t able to fight to stay awake for much longer, looking up towards the villain still with him, he scrambles to think of some message to have him give Arya- because fuck... he didn’t want to leave him like this, not with everything else he’d been through....

His thoughts and the half sentence he began are soon cut off though when he sees Cas of all people followed by Nightingale rush up to him. Nightingale’s features seem frozen in the same stoic expression he’s always seen them have, as they assess the injury and wave off Sebastian, letting him know they were taking over. 

“I won’t be able to fully heal him, not with the bullets still in him,” they say to both him and Cas as they examine his injuries. “I can keep him stable- but that is all.” 

He can barely register everything Nightingale is telling him between how difficult it was in general for him to focus on anything in that moment other than fighting off the urge to sleep, and Cas. There are a thousand things he wants to say to him too, if this was really going to be it for him, but apparently Nightingale seemed to think otherwise as their hands soon fall gently on his chest.
