An open love letter to Milet's songs
A criminally underrated song from "sousou no frieren" soundtrack in my opinion, is this;
"bliss" holds the essence of Frieren's story, & you can feel Himmel's gentle presence and the eternal love and trust they have for each other. As a violinist, my heart soars listening to the part after 1:30, the music accompanying milet's blessed voice at 1:40. In a time where we can't possibly keep up with the amount of amazing but plentiful content being presented by the music and anime industry, I wanted to take a moment and play these songs on repeat and appreciate the genius that goes into building these pieces.
"Drown" charmed me from the first second i heard it play. As a person who always skips OPs/EDs (Yes I know I deserve jail) I have NEVER skipped listening to this one (which is saying a lot if you remember the pacing of Vinland Saga S1)
Milet's voice is a rare gem and a big hat's off to the lyricist, composer and all those whose work contributed to her albums as well.
