YESSSS! I mean, I've only listened to the recording, so I can only imagine how much better it must have been live, in the same room, mere metres away on those tiny stands, but still. The way he says those words, pleadingly and drenched in sweetness but also domineering, like pleading from a man who knows he has won and he has won brutally. God it's so good! Those hissed esses and the whole mood he creates with them once again drive it home that the man needs to play the devil at one point. No typecasting, just perfect use for his very unique skillset of saying seemingly innocuous, sweet things in terrifying ways.
