We're back from Michigan! I have photos--lots and lots of photos, and some are even good. But it'll take time to sort through them, so this photo blog will be closer to home.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Great title, huh? "Clouds Over Albion" It doesn't have to be about Albion, Indiana--it could be some historical war novel about ancient Britain. I'll save it in my title folder, but in this case we're being more literal, because this week's photo blog is, indeed, about clouds over my hometown. If you click on them, they should get bigger--the photos, not the clouds. At least, that's the allegation.
Sometimes clouds can make a great background for an otherwise normal photo.
Other times, you can just walk out onto the back steps, and they don't need any help.
Sometimes, it's all about the lighting ...
... Or the lack of lighting.
Sometimes they can look threatening, even when the sun is shining.
If you look closely, you'll see the sky on the west side of Albion was full of turkey vultures, even though there was a strong wind blowing.
On an otherwise sunny day, these two cute little guys were hanging out all by themselves. Who knows? They may have sparked a thunderstorm a hundred miles down the road.
In any case, there's almost always something interesting to look at, up in the sky.

Remember: Electricity is a thing. You don’t have to reply on the sun to read.
Dónal Finn as Gabriel
From Prometheus Unbound
To suffer woes which Hope thinks infinite;
To forgive wrongs darker than death or nights;
To defy Power, which seems omnipotent;
To love, and bear; to Hope till Hope creates
From its own wreck the thing it contemplates;
Neither to change, nor falter, nor repent;
This, like thy glory, Titan, is to be
Good, great and joyous, beautiful and free;
This is alone Life, Joy, Empire, and Victory.
Percy Bysshe Shelley
