May I request that the human body learn to NOT sneeze when it has a migraine? Please and thank you.
Or Better yet just not have a migraine. ever.
When you have a migraine and all you feel like you can stomach is maybe some chips but then you nearly misophonia rage at the chip bag:
JFC! Why do you have to be so goddamn loud!
That sinking realization that I've spent over 2/3 of my life chronically ill and have never experienced a stage of life without migraines since I was a toddler.
I don't even remember my life before migraines. That's fucking sad.
I love the days where the migraine is bad enough to mean I am not going to accomplish shit, but not bad enough that my whole body will just shut off so I can sleep through it.

whenever I go to read about new research on migraine lately I’m flooded with information on chronic migraine
why is this suddenly the thing
no shade on chronic migraine sufferers (my coworker is one) but different types of migraine have different causes and symptoms and treatments and it seems as if chronic migraine is the diagnosis du jour because a) everyone is stressed to the max and b) drug companies can make bank if they can convince a sizeable segment of the population that their stress headaches are actually chronic migraine and they should take this medication once a month for the rest of their lives
or am I being cynical
I have hemiplegic migraines (like a ministroke)
classic migraines (aura with headache)
silent migraines (aura without headache)
vestibular migraines (severe vertigo and no balance)
and it’s still nearly impossible to get insurance to cover the diagnostic tests to investigate the causes... I was diagnosed at age 9 but I’ve never actually had a head CT or MRI because insurance won’t cover the tests and paying out of pocket would wipe out my savings and then some even now
it’s just irritating that this particular type of migraine is suddenly being taken seriously while the rest of us continue to suffer and to be told “it’s just a headache”
I have a migraine and the only thing I keep thinking about, aside from the horrible debilitating pain, is the music from that old Six Flags commercial with the old guy dancing...
Anyone have any remedies?
