Does anyone know anything about Microsoft computers? I got a call from Microsoft this morning telling me that I need to buy a license for my computer to work properly but I'm never been told about this before and idk it's just really random and they were pushing me to buy it on the spot but I told them to call back tomorrow. Can someone explain licensing to me please?

External Connector licensing on SharePoint
So, as the Yammer event on Tuesday this week, a couple of questions were raised about SharePoint and external users...I will try and explain the situ as best I can here to try and give some clarity:
If you have SharePoint 2013, external users are now covered by the Server license, no need for the old "External Connector license".
If you have SharePoint 2010, you must have SA on these licenses in order to use the use rights from SharePoint 2013 - IE. No external connector license needed if you have SA.
