External Connector licensing on SharePoint
So, as the Yammer event on Tuesday this week, a couple of questions were raised about SharePoint and external users...I will try and explain the situ as best I can here to try and give some clarity:Â
If you have SharePoint 2013, external users are now covered by the Server license, no need for the old "External Connector license".
If you have SharePoint 2010, you must have SA on these licenses in order to use the use rights from SharePoint 2013 - IE. No external connector license needed if you have SA.

Yammer Charity Event
Looking forward to hosing a number of charities tomorrow for our workshop @ the Yammer HQ in London - "Productivity Solutions and Social Collaboration for Charities"
We think there are some great use cases for Yammer in charities - will keep you all posted with any new ones that come up tomorrow!
Have a gander at this video case study from one our Gold Partners - OCSL. They have implemented a Clinical Desktop Solution at Luton & Dunstable NHS Trust which essential creates a "roaming desktop" for each clinician. The service is aptly named acceSSOnce :)
It is saving clinicians time and enabling them to get more done whilst on the move - quite an exciting story!

Surface Pro - yep, it has been a long time coming and we have had numerous queries from charities asking when it will be available but some exciting news came along just a couple of days ago and it appears we won't have to wait much longer. :)
Surface Pro will launch before the end of May in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
