A friend just shared Anthropeum with me, a game where you're shown 10 artifacts from the Met's collection, and you're asked to identify when and where each object is from on a map and timeline. Highly recommend!

[Image Description: a screenshot of the daily guessing game Metazooa. where one has 20 guesses to find the animal. I have done it in two, and almost did it in one because there were only two options of moths and I wanted to start with a moth today. END ID]
Some very quick Spinosaurus mirabilis sketches & notes
DISCLAIMER:
I'm no palaeontologists, I haven't even read the paper yet! The suggestions of biomechanics are just based on my quick, unprofessional observations. To me, S.Mirabilis seems to rely more on the jaw muscles while S.aegypticus relies more on its neck muscles & sheer weight. That is because, based on the comparison diagrams. the jugals (? If that's the right name?) of S.mirabilis seems proportionally more robust than S.aegypticus, who in return has teeth more foreward facing for ensnarement. Again, not a scientist! This is just armchair guessing.
Have you played Metazooa (2023)?
Yes
No
I watched someone play it
I've never heard of it
