“Make yourselves at home in my love”
I’m so sorry if anyone ever made you feel like it’s hard to love you. If they made you feel like you’re unlovable or not good enough because of your personality or your weaknesses, or what you’ve done or where you came from or what you've been through, or even what they think you should be. Everybody on this earth has something apart of them that seems unlovable. But ya know, God’s plan and path for our whole life looks different for all of us. He also knows everything you’ve done, thought, said, and will do. Yet, He loves every single person on this earth and wants a relationship with them. Shouldn’t our love try and resemble this? God fights for us and makes us a promise that no matter what, that love will not die. He will never back out and give up. You are more loved by God than all of the human love you’ve receive combined. You are loved so much that Jesus willing suffered and died for YOU. You are not unlovable. You are so, so loved. We live in a world where the amount of love you receive is based on the amount of work you put into yourself. Love shouldn’t be determined upon performance, but based off how He loves us. If we can’t love someone at their worst, loving them only at their best isn’t what God’s love looks like for us. “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you." John 15:12
