Nature has made us with a special factor: mercy. Mercy (or compassion) is what allow us to see from other’s point of view, mostly in dangerous times. It is like nature cursed us to see through the eyes of those we murder, so we won’t be able to hurt them. Of course this works better in some than in others. Psychology call this “empathy”, this feeling is one of the most primitive feelings of human nature, perceived in the beginning of his humanity, when whe first began to feel besides the necessities of our bodies, when we started to have a notion of our inner bodies. Sadly, even after all the evolution, we can still find (without a real effort), those who claim to be human, but lack the ability to see through other’s eyes..
