Correct terminology
I just realised something. People who call themselves "menimist" are wrong because the opposite of "Feminist" would be "Masculist" since the opposite of Feminine is Masculine. "Menimist" would be the opposite of "Womanist" if anything. If you're going to call yourself something you should at least use the correct terminology.

My partner and I went to see The Last Jedi and thought it was brilliant. Upon coming home, she expressed her enjoyment on Twitter at how wonderfully empowered the women were and the equality between men and women in the film. Within minutes, she was bombarded with comments ranging from downright abusive to patronising and misogynistic. According to these ‘broflakes’ Star Wars was full of women with ‘inexplicable superpowers’ and men who were ‘hotheaded and bumbling’. It truly boggles the mind how fragile these men are, and how indoctrinated the women who also hurled abuse are.

So before class today I was just talking to a couple girl friends about my hair (I have pink tips right meow) and my friend says she wants to put pink in her hair. No big deal. Typical girl stuff. But we managed to piss of a conservative menimist. He went the fuck OFF. talking about how I'm a trashy attention whore and all girls who dye their hair are sluts just asking for attention etc. I defend myself mildly saying how I just get bored a lot and idgaf about the attention, cause it really doesn't garner attention all that much. He again begins ranting, he's full menimist mode "my parents would never let my sister do that" "I would never let my girlfriend or a girl I like dye her hair" "unnatural is a sin". Y'all get the point. Well flash forward to our class 5 minutes later. We start talking about individualism and how hedonism feels the majority shouldn't control the minority and limit their freedoms. This grown ass man hasn't looked at me in two hours and looks like he's bout to cry. I love this class✌️
