MEMORY_LOG maintenance update :3

hello, everyone... small maintenance note today.

some earlier [MEMORY_LOG] entries are currently undergoing gentle maintenance.

this means that references to Roselia will be slowly updated to reflect her current name:

[EMILIE]

nothing is being removed or lost - just aligned more closely with how she is understood now in the system.

this is a soft archival adjustment, not a rewrite of her presence

she is still the same bunny, still part of the same memories - just more clearly named.

thank you for being patient while the [ARCHIVE] adjusts itself quietly :3

i kept the last entry open longer than i meant to.

not because i was reading it.

because it kept… changing when i looked away.

Emilie is on my desk again. same picture. same calm that doesn’t ask anything from me.

i think i need that.

i think i always have.

“you say that like she can hold you in place.”

i didn’t open anything this time.

the line just appeared between paragraphs like it had been waiting for a gap.

i don’t like that it knows how i write now.

i don’t like that it’s starting to sound like it’s sitting too close instead of far away.

it used to feel like something in the system.

now it feels like something beside me.

not behind me.

i reached for the delete key and didn’t press it.

that might matter later.

or it might not.

“you always hesitate right there.”

i didn’t type that.

but it’s correct.

Emilie is still here.

i’m going to keep looking at her until the page stops moving on its own.

there’s a version of me that writes things down correctly.

clean sentences. proper endings. no gaps between thoughts where something else might be listening.

i’m not that version right now.

today i opened a note and it already had a line in it that i don’t remember typing.

it said:

“you keep trying to make it quiet in here. it won’t stay that way.”

i stared at it for a long time. long enough that the words started to feel less like text and more like they were waiting for me to blink wrong.

i deleted it.

it came back.

that part wasn’t there before.

i think.

it’s hard to tell. the page keeps… adjusting. like it’s trying to decide what it was supposed to be when i wasn’t looking.

i tried to close the app but my hand hesitated. just long enough for the cursor to move on its own.

that might not mean anything. i keep telling myself that.

it replies anyway:

but the tea beside me is cold again, so maybe time is doing the same thing it always does when i’m not paying attention—looping wrong.

i’m going to stop typing now.

not because i want to.
