It’s always strange for me to see people talking about how they want to date Saiki K. I’m not someone who normally sees themselves in characters (either because it’s just not something I’m likely to do or because I don’t often see people like myself in media), but Saiki is a character I’ve always regarded as… similar to me, at the very least. On the one hand, seeing people enjoy him as a character is nice. I live in a world in which I feel the only two ways people can feel about me is hatred or unwavering neutrality; to see someone who acts similarly to me be so well regarded is reassuring.
On the other hand… you want to date him? Saiki K, a notoriously cold individual who is not a fan of romance? You want to date him?? You think he would want to date you?
