TW: medical stuff, life falling apart, emotionally dysregulated friend, general horrors.

I had an awful day. Housing instability is taking a serious toll on me, and I’m currently living with a friend who is emotionally unstable in a way I didn’t fully understand, even after 25 years of friendship. She was my port in the storm, but having me here—and the burden of my collapsing health—has brought out something in her that is deeply destabilizing for both of us. It’s a hard reality to sit with, and I’m feeling pretty devastated tonight.

I broke down at cardiac rehab today and my therapist hugged me. I realized I couldn’t remember the last time I’d been hugged. That realization landed harder than I expected. And I can hardly believe I just wrote that. I just needed to say it somewhere, I guess.

If anyone has any soft, cozy (or funny) fic recs, I would really appreciate them tonight.

...Weird question. But uh.. I like softer materials. Pillows, and blankets and such.
