"Certainly worth a visit. Once jumped into the boat, the landscape is transformed and the color of the water and is an unbelievable deep blue. When you enter the part still covered the cave you can also see large bats with clear wings as they settled into deepest corners of the dark rocks."

Baldur's Gate character feature - antagonists
Today's shortfic feature is dedicated to the main antagonists: Irenicus, Bodhi, and Melissan, since Sarevok's already been covered.
Love them, love to hate them, or think they didn't have enough time in the game to show their stuff - these bad people work hard out there to make the plots happen.
Irenicus

Bhaalspawn Exiles by Arcalian. A what-if premised on changing Jon's and Bodhi's nature.

Bodhi
Emails One Should Not Read, by Spira, short but quite funny, Jon Irenicus and Bodhi's email correspondence.
Cold Comfort and Bodhi's Revenge, part of the story Yoshimo by Arelius and Silrana. It's about Bodhi and Yoshimo and their relationship - and unexpected depths in Bodhi.
Stranded by Anaquia. Bodhi and Irenicus as adorable elven children, of all things - works pretty well. :)

Melissan
The Beginning by Melle. An excellent point of view from Amelyssan, priestess of Bhaal, before the story.
The Calm Before An Apocalypse by Fantysm. This is Melissan redemption fic in a one-shot. The character change is probably too easily accomplished, but it's a valiant effort and deserves kudos for that! Some Hearts Can't Be Broken by the same author is a backstory fic for Amelyssan.
Five Reasons To Go Off Your Rocker by Laufey. In which Melissan does not enjoy her meetings with the Five. For certain reasons.
Another New Boss by Lord E. Amelyssan the Black-Hearted wins.
The Shadows of Amn part of Arcalian's Adrian series gives Melissan a little more backstory in longfic.
Struck by a surge of nostalgia because of seeing Baldur's Gate related post on my dash (what is today, some kind of a holiday?), I googled something and found this. Funny thing, I never noticed the resemblance until now.
