mel and silco could have had a scene in the bathhouse.... i fear i'll never recover

Soooo I am very strongly considering writing my first long form fanfic. I’ve been cooking this in my head for a while, and now I fear I’m hyperfixated enough that I’m gonna have to actually do something about it. I want to write an Arcane Actor AU where the characters are starring in a production of King Lear, focusing on Silco and Jinx’s relationship as they play Lear and Cordelia. Silco as the aging, blacklisted Shakespearean savant desperate to revive his career, Jinx as a Nina Sayers-like prodigy struggling under the weight of her mental health problems in a merciless industry. Expect a side helping of Melco since it’s my favorite rare pair (Mel is the director). There’s so much potential in this premise to dig into politics, theatre world drama, and deliciously fucked up father-daughter angst. Hoping to gauge some interest in this project- please let me know if you’d read and ask me any questions you have as they help me brainstorm and I am dying to infodump.
