Hi there~ I'm the artist who did the bee cup you bought :) I've been going around the tags hoping to find the people who bought the cups. The cup has a bit of care needs to be done before you can use it, bake it at 325 for 30 minutes. This just makes sure the hand painting I did will not peel off or fade out. I hope you enjoy it! -Sora

I thought I'd make a post about the really awesome tea party that'll be happening while I'm visiting London next month! Those of you newer to my blog might not have any idea of what I'm talking about, since this year my time has largely been taken up with focusing on my comic work, so I haven't had as much time for the tea side of business, but for the last few years, I've been creating fandom inspired tea blends for Adagio, and since tea isn't always the cheapest thing to buy without knowing what you're in for, I've also hosted numerous tea parties/tastings across the the US so people can come taste the teas, eat snacks, and get to know other people in fandom! The parties have ranged anywhere from a small potluck gathering of about 20-30 people hanging out and having a good time, to crazy big parties of hundreds of people. Celebrities like Mark Gatiss and Osric Chau have been known to pop in to the parties too.
So what exactly goes on at the parties?
