You called into the void, and the void answered... with a question of its own.
Your question is: What stereotypes currently plague your world? How are they socially enforced? What impacts do they have on the people affected?
Ooh, I love this question. Stereotypes is something I've been working at for Souls of Black, since the races there (and societal classes of sorts) are all from scratch. and you know, one of the biggest worldbuilding things in it is everybody hates each other.
So there's two kinds of divisions right now. Biome-specific and societal classes. I'll start with the first:
People in different Biomes (which are kinda like the different countries on Dridon, the continent) have a good few pre-made notions about people from other Biomes, depending on what they hear or what they may have seen from the few outsiders in their Biome. I haven't made stereotypes for all the Biomes yet, but some off the top of my head:
Densarians, people from The Dark (Oak) Forest, are blunt and rude, but also are like shadows and mysterious, savage, and dangerous. There's a lot of half-formed ones about Densarians, because most people only hear of them vaguely, and even more rarely have ever seen one, much less interact with one. Densarians who hear the sterotypes don't care for the most part, but anyone who does know and see one will be a lot more on guard.
People of The Pure Woods (the birch forest) are savage and heretical, who wear the remains of their kills and feed on blood and gore. They also are pushovers and are stupid because of it. This is half true; people of The Pure Woods do wear skulls of the animals they kill, and collect bones, but moreso as part of their culture/belief system, which is a mix of the two largest religions on Dridon: Abyssalism and Idealism. Unfortunately, this makes any Pure Woods people in other Biomes be heavily discriminated against. Not believed in to do anything important, seen as less skilled, etc.
Taigan people are haughty and think themselves as better than everyone, even when they're not. Not entirely true. Taigan people give off that air due to their formal culture, though they can think of themselves as better than others, because like everyone on Dridon does that.
The Biome-specific stereotypes aren't really enforced, it's just... people believe them and usually don't have anything to disprove them, because the Biomes don't interact often.
Onto the societal class ones. There's a few groups, each with their own stereotypes from other groups:
Clerics - can be stereotyped by Outcasts or secular peoples to be wayy over the top in their religion, since Clerics are like the religious leaders. Some people view them to just be brainwashing people. Witches view them as hypocrites, as Clerics brew potions and dabble in alchemy and magic just like Witches do.
Archivists - stereotyped to be greedy bastards, only collecting money from the people to fund meaningless research projects about their world. It doesn't help that a lot of Archivists do just lounge around on their wealth and power, and send lesser Archivists to do the actual research.
Outcasts - People who live outside of villages and towns, and out in the wilderness. The stereotypes vary between Biomes, as all Outcasts act different depending on the environment. But in general they're believed to be uncivilized, stupid, savage, and dangerous people who'll kill you if you so much as look at them (said as if villagers won't do the same, just with more numbers). In civilized places, Outcasts (and outsiders in general) are looked down upon.
Raiders - similar to Outcasts in living outside of civilization, but they're sometimes seen as more refined and more savage at the same time. Raiders, true to their name, loot and pillage civilized areas. They're viewed as refined due to some being charming and making deals with Archivists/Clerics, and savage due to what they do.
Witches - seen as dangerous, and heretical in the eyes of Abyssalists, due to their extensive potion and alchemical knowledge. They usually live on their out on their own. In Idealism, they're less viewed as heretics, but some are still uneasy about them, due to how thin the line is between the 'good' and 'bad' ways to exemplify the Witches' chosen Paradigm, the Paradigm of Power.
Wanderers - strange, shady merchants that somehow can get between Biomes, and through the immense storms that act as a border between them. That's a trade secret, but they always bring exotic things to sell. They can do things like send messages across Biomes or collect information or items, but usually for a hefty price. Nobody trusts them, but a lot of people do use them, and everyone sees them as crazy and dangerous.
Drifters - they're a mysterious, yet dangerous group. Some don't believe they exist, because Drifters are people who constantly cross between Biomes, going where they please, and doing whatever they want. They are truly out for themselves, self reliant, a loose cannon that no one can tie down with wealth or power—they'll just get it themselves anyway. They'll charm you and stab you in the back, or kill you at a moment's notice if it benefits them.
Thing is, you can't really tell if anyone's a Drifter. With the other groups, usually it's a tell by their outfits, or the way they act in certain places. But a Drifter could truly be anyone. And that makes them all the more dangerous.
Something something about Witch!Nil having dozens of lighting scars across their back, because of the Witch's attempts at turning them into a witch too, but it never happens...
Lighting scars all over their back, that go down their legs and a little on their arms... (Strangely, never in the head, though the witch paints one similar to hers on their head.)

im back >:0)
Have not posted here in so long!!! I am just so tired and busy with classes!!!! But i am very much still doing minecraft work and thinking about my little guys, Ace and Dio have received new designs/ references and all the main fellas have new very detailed toyhouse pages!! Link is here :
A community for collaborative character creation and trading, worldbuilding and roleplay.
and here are the references with notes!!!
Ace got a redone design in the more obvious ways, I already loved her colors a whole lot, but I hated how bland and clunky her old design was. very ugly. but now she looks a bit more unique and streamlined, very easy to draw and looks very nice!!! The leaves on her head were the biggest problem, but they're very small now and her apron is optional and her arms are out!! She is big and strong and i need to show arms to show that!!!!!!! as well as an Allium pin on her head, it's not real, its made out of wood but she really loves it, only thing she has left from her mom
Nothing too crazy with Dio tho!!! just hated again, how bland and boring her design was, but now she has a bit more easy to draw details that make her cuter!!! The pearls are from her friend Aries <3 Dio's colors were like a big mess last time that I struggled with, but with the addition of white and some dark blues I managed to make her a cool colored character with her skin tone even being slightly more cold, but still the gold and her skin are the warmest tones!! Overall, much happier with this!!
I am HOPING!!! to get Briar and Daggar new references, and a small addition to Rose's ref but over all her and Delta can remain unchanged bc they dont need much updated!!!!

Oh ya, here’s my (2020) headcanons for illagers and villagers, as well as witches and ravagers!
Listen, sometimes you can’t fall asleep for several nights in a row so you make up complex Minecraft lore and have to make OCs for it. I don’t make the rules.
