1. What is your favourite guilty pleasure?
The song Fine China by Chris Brown. I loathe him with the fury of a thousand suns but I really like that song. Plus I enjoy the irony of him singing about being generous and treating a girl like fine china. lmao.
2. If you came across a magical lamp with a genie inside, what would your three wishes be?
World peace
Cures to every ailment known to man
Limitless resources around the world (meaning gas prices could be lowered, we wouldn't have to worry about running out of fresh water, etc.)
3. If we could be materalistic for a moment here, what recent purchase has brought you the most enjoyment?
They were actually gifts, but I'd say my fingerless gloves and Slytherin scarf. I wear them as often as I can.
4. Are you a cat person or a dog person? Or some other kind of person?
lol, both. I'm an animal person. I perfer dogs to cats, but I love both. Really I love all kinds of pets, except, for some reason, fish. I hate fish - I don't understand the point of owning them.
5. What is your favourite kind of weather/season, and why?
acting up.
6. What is your pet peeve?
Unnecessary noise. It’s hard to explain what I mean – it’s like when people chew with their mouths open and breathe loudly at the same time. Things like that drive me insane. I know you know how to chew with your mouth closed, so why don’t you do it? Gah!
7. Which three movies have most affected you on a personal level? Elaborate on how, if you’d like to (:
1. Tsotsi – the first movie I ever watched with subtitles. It taught me about strong film-making. That sometimes the unhappy ending is the strongest choice; that it’s important to remember the message you are trying to convey and to not be afraid to go to the messy, dark places.
2. The Mummy – I became really obsessed with history and mythology, especially ancient Greece and Egypt’s, after watching this movie at the age of eight.
3. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone – because my mom refused to let me see the movie until I read the book and the book changed my life. I didn’t like reading until I read Harry Potter and then I couldn’t seem to stop reading. I became a bookworm and being a bookworm made me a writer. I wouldn’t be who I am now if it wasn’t for this movie.
8. What was your first fandom/ship?
My first fandom was Harry Potter. I became obsessed (and often still am) with this universe. As for my first ship, I think it may have been Li/Sakura from Card Captors. I say this because they were the first pairing I ever read fanfiction for and I feel you can’t really say you ship something until you’ve read fanfiction for it. lol.
9. What’s the NOTP that you NOTP the most? How is it horrible?
This is a very hard question. I’d say Delena, just because I hate everything about this ship. I seriously cannot stand them together! I hate Damon when he’s around Elena; I hate Elena when she’s around Damon – well... I hate Elena most of time, but especially when she’s around Damon. He somehow manages to be a romantic sap and still be incredibly disrespectful to her and she becomes even more self-absorbed. It’s horrible in every way possible.
10. What is your song of the moment?
It’s a tie between Gold Dust (Shy FX Re-edit) by DJ Fresh and Diamonds by The Boxer Rebellion (which gives me Bamon feels. Shocker.)
11. Do you like to cook? What is your specialty?
I like cooking, though I’m not very good at it nor do I particularly like cleaning up after myself. I think my specialties are eggplant salad and grilled cheese, bacon and tomato sandwiches.
