Hi!! I might be able to help if you have any betta questions? I can't quite tell from the pictures here but if you think his fins look a little funky it could be that they're clamped up (happens when they're stressed or not feeling well) and with a better environment and more fun stuff to interact with he should open up within a few days to weeks. :) If it's not that it could be that they've torn or have fin rot in which with proper care they should grow back within a few months, depending!

Oooh okay, thank you! His fins do look a little bigger all of a sudden now that he’s had some time to adjust and explore. I’ll definitely be posting lots more (and better) pictures of him so you could get a closer look just in case anything is wrong.

it depends on how long it takes my new bab to leave the nest! at least a few weeks from now, it is a while so i should be ok for a bit but i just like to have the money and stuff ready for when that time comes.. i don’t wanna leave it too late or babys parents will start to pick on it once it starts to learn how to fly (╯︵╰ )
