107th Marle Does Things - The whole series version [Look under the cut! ; Semi Narrative]
For this final version of the 107th Marle Does Things, I wanted to give a proper tribute to the series that greatly influenced my creations (mainly by giving me my taste of RPGs and Final Bosses): the whole Mario and Luigi series.
Little disclaimer. This post's main parts are of course the pictures, the little elements of story only have the vocation to be a little extra flavor (and the story takes place in the Marle Clef de Nuit's story line)
So, Marle Clef de Nuit will have to fight the main villains from ALL the series at once to defend her Superfinal Empire (it's the Mushroom Kingdom she conquered by killing Mario, Luigi, Peach and Bowser at the end of Bowser's Inside Story)! They sit on the left side of the battlefield, as if they were reduced to mere heroes... But they are all beefed up, so much that they have the maximum rules-complying statistics! We have...
Coming back from the dead, and representing Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, we got Undead Cackletta! It seems she got brought back to life thanks to the Beanstar that some foolish Beanish People misused to bring back the witch that first caused problems to the Mario Brothers! She has orange and cyan particles, showing that her fire and thunder powers has been enhaced.
Brought back by her mad scientists with all the energy they took from the Toads they had left at the moment she got beaten by the Mario Brothers, we have the Vim Resurrected Elder Princess Shroob! She represents Mario and Luigi Partners in Time here! With all the vim she received to power her and the Cobalt Star stolen from what remained of the brothers, she literally oozes particles shaped like the spirits of the Toads, much to Marle Clef de Nuit's rage!
From the deepest abyss, coming back thanks to the Dark Star's will to plunge the world into its darkness to destroy it, the Darker Star Core demands for another battle... It's only the shadow of a shadow who was the final boss of Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story, but as it's literally an incarnation of darkness, that fact gives him immense powers, giving him even more particles of pure darkness! Maybe it wants to reclaim the version of Dark Bowser that got resurrected by Marle Clef de Nuit... Who knows?
As Mario and Luigi were killed by the goddess, the bat king had no difficulty to take the Dream Stone... He broke from his dreamy prison, and wished for the Dark Sone to be in his possession... Without the heroic plumbers, the Pi'illo from Mario and Luigi: Dream Team are already doomed to lie as sone pillows, letting all room to the Nightmare OniAntasma to take over the island with the power of both stones shining onto the entire left side of the battlefield... Unless the bat king is killed (brutally) by the goddess!
It seems that because the paper wold and the normal world were both conquered to become parts of the Superfinal Empire, that some people of the paper world going to the normal world, causing quite a lot of havoc! But as Bowser and Paper Bowser were both killed by the goddess, no one had the idea to use that for an invasion... Forgotten from all, Dry Dry Bowser took the occasion to try to take Bowser's place in the Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam world! But he knows that in that order, he has to disloge the goddess from her evil throne... So he lets lots of bones onto the field (He doesn't seem to care of the loss of them, maybe because he can spawn infinite many bones)!
Back onto Concordia that could have been the world of Mario and Luigi: Brothership... Without the resistance that Mario and Luigi could oppose to him, Zokket had all the time to massively produce Glohm in order to power Reclusa... The epitone of loneliness got so much of his own elemental power that he became Glohm Reclusa, oozing with Glohm particles. Concorida is alredy doomed... But will it be by being broken from Reclusa's power or by the whims of the goddess, toying with worlds?
Of course, all bosses, on top of being beefed up, have their underlings to help them to take down the impossible enemy:
Cackletta has some Magikoopas under her control
The Elder Princess Shroob has Shroob Rexes
The Dark Star Core has Dark Mechafawful.5's
Antasma has his Antasmunchies
Dry Bowsr has his Koopalings (here Roy and Larry)
Reclusa has some Seedlusas (and of course they bloomed)
To face them all at once, the Superfinal Cheater is the boss among bosses! She sits at the only side of the battlefield, the right side! She's more than determined to show who is the supreme evil in this world! She already deployed her Perfect Move (giving her the wings) and her Protective Bubble (giving her the DEF-Up status effect). She also has her dice invoked, just to mess with all bosses for a laugh. Finally, her particles are shaped like the icons of the different statistics that shows her control over the mere numbers that make the universe! Let's be honest here... She doesn't consider any of her legendary opponents as the enpowered bosses they are, but as mere playtoys! And she has a reason to display her evilest smile, as her playtoys won't break after the first strike, giving her all room to make them suffer, and make it beautiful (her own way)!
Finally, even the battlefeild itself is here to remind who owns it, because at the center, where the energetic particles of both side collide and conflict, the seal of the Master Family sits... And the keys circling the arena are also there to remind everyone the thing, as if the seal wasn't enough! (Fun fact, there are 38 keys circling the arena)
As a little bonus, here are some "ultra close-ups" of the Mario and Luigi bosses and Marle Clef de Nuit themselves.
As usual in the Marle Does Things series, the statistics of everyone are available (Note: The stats of the supports are the same than in their game. If a support has multiple sets of stats, then the most powerful one is retained here):
I hope you like that final version of the 107th Marle Does Things!
Little thing. All the accessories (bosses and particles) you can see in the different pictures has been printed and hand-cut... The plushie is of course homemade! (The only things I didn't made are the keys, the dice... And the table!)
