hey do any marathon runners have advice for a first time runner? i’m training for my debut in late may so i’d love to get some tips while there’s still plenty of time to make additions/ changes to my training plan. thanks in advance!! you’re all incredible.
Fun run in the burning sun ☀️ I really enjoy running free without a training schedule but I should start to get back on track soon...there are some races coming. PS: I watched @tracktownmovie by Alexi Pappas and it was 10/10 amaaazing. A must watch for every runner.
Colourful 5k this evening. Unplanned but necessary. Exhausted from work and a night with almost zero sleep...running cured me. Now off to work on my dissertation.

That race gear lay-out and trying everything on for the last time pre-marathon. Just 36h till the race 🙌🏻
Just 3 (!!) days until the marathon. Did my last run with some fellow marathoners today and my motivation is sky high! Yaaaaaas! Marathon training statistics: ~ 900km since January 2017 + 2kg heavier (and stronger!) 7 long runs of 30km or more lots of new PRs ------------------------------- = HAPPY and STRONG
W3D2 - solid 45min run, planks, core and some foam rolling. I had NO motivation to go outside since it's 1C, rainy and dark outside. But I managed to do my run anyway and it felt a lot better than I expected it to feel. Ended my workout with the longest minute of the day (aka planks) and finally foam rolling and some other core exercises. Now I'm at home again and ready to enjoy a great dinner and an apple pie smoothie! Side note: I ran 300km this January. 300km. In January. Crazy.
