Ingredients: 4 slices of thick-cut bread. 2 large eggs. 1/2 cup of milk. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/2 tsp cinnamon. 1/4 tsp nutmeg. 1/4 cup of granulated sugar. 1/4 cup of maple syrup. 1 banana, sliced. 1 cup of strawberries, hulled and halved. 1/2 cup of blueberries. Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and granulated sugar to make the French toast batter. Cut each slice of thick-cut bread into bite-sized cubes. Dip the bread cubes into the French toast batter, making sure they are well-coated. Thread the coated bread cubes onto the wooden skewers, alternating with slices of banana, strawberries, and blueberries.
