This is my first attempt at drawing an adult male character, and I have to say—adult men are really difficult to draw 😅💦 As a beginner artist, most of the time I draw girls. I rarely draw male characters. Even though I really like Manolo, I’ve never drawn him because I’m not good at it (honestly, my favorite Book of Life character is La Muerte…)
I tried recently, but that first attempt was just discouraging. The drawing you’re seeing now is the second version, done with my teacher’s guidance—I already deleted the first one 😅 I think I really need to practice drawing male characters more, otherwise I’ll just keep drawing only females. But I want to grow into a more well-rounded artist
