Maybe a controversial opinion, but the third one was the best in my eyes and the first one gets the last place, even though it has many wonderful moments too. (That being said, I deeply dislike the very last scene of the third movie, since even for a Disney-movie, everything seemed to be forgiven way too fast and easily.)

2. Say what you want about the movies, but the actors are very talented and dedicated and the songs are absolute bops that will hold up for a very long time.

3. I have never had more conflicted emotions about any protagonist than I have about Mal (I might make a separate post about it later, but others have explained it better than I could, so... :) ).

4. Evie would've been more fitting ruler, in my opinion.

4. My shipper-heart beats into so many directions, but I can't truly root for Ben and Mal. The way their love story began was shady (beautifully expressed) and they both had better connection and chemistry with so many other characters.

5. Ben was done so dirty multiple times, and I feel like he is very underrated.

6. Speaking of chemistry... Harry Hook seems to be Theo Raeken of the "Descendants"-universe - he has chemistry with literally anyone. A huge part of me loves Huma and wanted them to end up together, but the connection and sparks he, Gil and Jay have going on.. ;) I also wanted to know more about the obvious romantic past between Hook and Mal. (Hook seems to be one of my favorite characters in many fandoms, huh.)

7. The fact that they didn't make Malvie canon is a huge crime (nothing against Doug, though, he is a great guy).

8. Uma and Audrey deserved so much better, to be honest.

9. Carlos is such a wholesome and sweet bean, he deserves the world as well. I would love to have him as a friend. What happened to Cameron was so tragic and unfair, and thinking about it while seeing his radiating presence on screen made me constantly tear up.

10. I never would've thought I'd say this in any circumstance, but Hades is hands down the best villain-parent and I truly hoped to see more of him.

Usually Harry. He’s over dramatic. Mal and Uma just roll their eyes, but sometimes his over the top grunting and groaning makes them laugh and their sex is giggly and silly.

Harry is most experimental because his imagination always runs wild. With two beautiful girlfriends, his mind is constantly about sex.

They all take risks. None of them do very well with thinking about consequences.

On. Three bodies is a lot, even though Mal and Uma are petite. It’s easiest to navigate with light.

Sure. This isn’t a ship I’m really into, but I kind of liked how my last Harry/Mal piece came out, so let’s see how well this goes!

“Oh Evil,” Evie groans. “Not this again.”

Uma spares the princess a distrustful glance before leaning against the same wall and watching the display before them. “I wondered why Harry was so insistent we come to the barge today.”

“Mal’s not any better. I’m pretty sure she knows Harry’s entire week schedule.”

The two blue-haired girls share a look before making similar gagging noises.

Just a few feet ahead of them, Evie’s best friend and Uma’s most trusted ally stood toe-to-toe, nearly touching chests.

“Come now, Mal,” Harry sings, twirling a purple lock around his finger. “I saw it first, give it back.”

Mal gazes at the - what is she holding again? Oh, some sort of ripped jacket - material in her hand and looks back up at Harry through her lashes. “Well I have it so… What are you going to give me for it?”

The pirate leans forward, his chest against hers, fingers still in her hair. “What makes ye think I won’t just take it?”

Uma lets her head fall back again the wall. “This is just awkward to watch.”

“No, it’s inappropriate,” Evie scoffs, crossing her arms, “even for Isle standards.”

“Just tell Mal to fuck him and get it over with.”

“I’ve tried!” Evie practically whines and turns to the captain. “She insists she has no interest in Hook in that way.”

“As much as I hate to find common ground with you, I feel your pain. Harry says the same thing about her.” Uma sighs, lazily turning to face the princess. “They’re hopeless.”

“Oh, ew.”

“What now?” Uma faces back to her first mate and rolls her eyes at the sight.

Harry, fully pressed against Mal and grinning broadly, holds the jacket just out of Mal’s reach, making good use of their height difference.

In response, Mal’s hand is fisted in Harry’s shirt, pulling it down further than is necessary. She stands on her toes to glare into his eyes, seething, “I had it first, it’s mine.”

“What are ye going to give me for it?” Harry allows Mal to guide him down to her level, so close their noses touch, and smiles at her. The hand once in her hair moves down her arm, stopping at and encircling her petite wrist.

But before Mal can answer, there’s another hand on her shoulder and voice in her ear.

“Mal Bertha,” Evie hisses, “there are children here!”

“They see violence all the time, E. They’re fine.”

“That is so not where this is leading.”

As the girls whisper back and forth, Uma grabs her first mate and turns Harry to face her. “Do what you want in private,” she warns, “but do not disgrace our crew by being so open with her.”

“Captain,” Harry whines, “we weren’t going to-.”

“Oh, yes you were!” Uma points a finger in his face and pulls him away. “You can finish your verbal fucking later, but we have things to do at the ship.”

Evie does the same with Mal, gently guiding her to the other end of the barge. “Yeah, M. The boys are waiting for us.”

“Okay, but we were not verbal fucking.”

“Yes you were, dear.”

“Evie!”

“Come now,” Evie pulls them back onto the street and up an alley, “I’m sure Jay has condoms for you to use!”

“I’m not fucking Hook!”

“Well, not yet.”

“You’re not allowed to have alcohol on campus.”

Harry waves lazily at the voice behind his back but doesn’t turn around. He wouldn’t be able to see the fluorescent purple hair in the dark anyway. “I’m not pouring out a bottle of me favorite liquor if that’s what ye’re suggesting.”

“I’m suggesting you put it away.”

“No.”

Mal takes a seat beside him on the rooftop, looking over the wide school yard in silence. “You can at least share it then,” she demands after a moment and takes a swig from the bottle, grimacing at the taste. “Auradon’s that bad, huh? Not what you expected?”

“I didn’t have expectations, I never thought about this place.” Auradon is Auradon, nothing special or grand, despite what Uma tends to think. The Isle was, is, home. It’s is excitement and freedom and familiarity and comfort all in one dirty, cramped package.

“Then why are you here?”

Harry sips his liquor and hums, “because Uma came.”

“And you follow her everywhere.”

“Is that a bit o’ jealousy I hear?” Harry turns to Mal, quirks an eyebrow and grins. “Ye were the one who left, lass.”

“Oh please,” Mal rolls her eyes, “even when we together, you had an obsession with her. Are you guys fucking?”

“Eww,” Harry turns up his nose as his bottle is snatched away again. “No, Uma and I… Ye don’t sleep with yer captain. That’s just disrespectful.”

Mal laughs, quick and sharp, “I never would have guessed Harry Hook cared about respect.”

Harry takes back his booze. “She’s captain, she controls where the crew goes. She said Auradon, so Gil and I follow.”

“So you only came for Uma?”

“Did ye think I was going to say I came to see ye?”

“I don’t know what I thought,” Mal yawns, pushes back her hair. “I am sorry for how things ended though.”

“Ugh,” Harry makes a noise more distressed at Mal’s words than he had been with the idea of sleeping with Uma. “If I ever start apologizing from being in Auradon so long, just hook me. Throw me into the ocean.”

Mal laughs again, holds her side. She’s warm and fuzzy and a little careless when reaches for Harry. “It’s not so bad here. You get to be you, not just the son of Captain Hook.”

“What if that’s all I am?”

“It’s not.”

“What if it’s all I want to be?”

“Is it?”

They sit together in silence.

“It’s okay to not fit in,” Mal murmurs, sipping more of the liquor and resting against Harry’s shoulder like she use to. “I don’t either. Neither does Jay. We still struggle.”

“No way,” Harry drags out. “The lass who left the Isle for Auradon, then ran away back to the Isle, just to go back to Auradon again doesn’t fit it?”

“Oh shut up,” Mal punches his side but doesn’t move her head. “I’m just saying you’re not the only one. It takes a lot of time to get use to it all.”

“I don’t need yer comfort.”

“No, your booze was comforting you just fine.”

“Ye weren’t complaining when ye were helping yerself.”

“This is some low-quality shit, Harry, but fast acting. I’ve missed this more than anything else from the Isle.”

“Well now ye’re just hurting me feelings.”

“You’re here now,” Mal yawns into his vest, settles closer against him, “so I don’t miss you anymore.”

“But you admit you did miss me?”

She makes a tired noise. “No, that’s the alcohol talking.”

“Well the alcohol says I…maybe was not happy ye were gone.”

Mal chuckles, closes her eyes. “That booze is very talkative.”

“Well Auradon has talking dogs, so ye can’t complain.” Harry finally wraps his arm around her waist, finding a sensation similar to comfort in her small stature and petite frame.

“Oh yeah,” she snickers again. “I still have to fix that. I’ll do it the morning. Every….everything will be better in the morning.”
