MAKO!!! ⏩⏩⏩Follow your @shark.passion for more 🦈❤ . 🎥&✒ @joeromeiro333 Been thinking about this one particular mako shark we named “Suki” back in the day. She was a brief relationship but, we will never forget her. One of the most bold mako sharks I have ever encountered. Destroyed this lens biting it over 18 times on film and a few times not. Haha We eventually had to leave her because of time but, I will never forget the attitude this shark had and every mako since (at least in the back of my mind) I have compared to her. I’m not sure today how many makos I have swam with. Maybe thousands? I couldn’t tell you after so long but one thing I’m sure of that has never changed is that these outstandingly bold sharks don’t last long in world set out to kill them. When we met Suki the Mako she was not yet on the IUCN endangered species list but since we have personally seen them slip into this status. I hope she is still out there but the odds are that she isn’t. It kills me when I think about it. The person or people who probably killed her don’t even know how many times her image has been showed on countless outlets around the globe. I dare to say that this mako is one of the most famous ones ever and she is unknown as an individual. This year a new light will be in our lives and we have some new things on the horizon. One especially amazing thing that hopefully will have the ability to give something back to the sharks that have ultimately given us ALL so much. I cannot wait to announce it.
