Hey everyone good morning sorry for the late post but I work till Midnight EST and just walked home from work sat down and been checking my socials and email and this email came through. It is one of these I have recieved them before and basically it says DM the curator to connect. So I did and this Spotify Playlisting company is actually pretty big with over 51.2K followers. The curators that emailed me the same "Hey you been scouted" emails, and u hit the connect button it takes you always to their IG page. Previous ones only had like 20K followers at the most. Now I always connect and at least send them a messege asking about their email and saying that I have recieved it. Now the catch is they want you to either pay to be on their advertised playlist that you've been "Scouted" for, or pay them to promote your music on their network of playlists. See so the moral to the story is "If you see something or are offered something that seems to good to be true, chances are it is" and at the very least 98% of the time they are gonna offer something but you have to pay them. Which basically your paying for their connections and to help ya climb the ladder to success in the music industry.
