jude took you on a surprise date to the aquarium as an early birthday gift and of course, you had to get into a silly debate over nothing. it started off with you commenting about how pretty the water looks, jude would go like, “the wa-tuh?”, “the wa-tuh over here, or over there?”, “it just looks like wa-tuh.” he said in his silly, adorable accent.

you’d try to hold in your laughs and comments, but you just couldn’t after he yelled out, “look at that huge shark in the wa-tuh!”

you giggled and covered your mouth, “water, you mean?”

jude raised an eyebrow, “that’s what i said,” he paused, “wa-tuh.”

“no,” you laughed once more, “you’re saying wa-tuh, it’s water.”

“i’m saying it correctly.” he defended himself, looking off at the other sea animals.

“nope.” you teased him, exaggerating the “p”, and turning the other way so he couldn’t see your obvious smirk.

“did two.” jude said as you could feel him staring at you, “and we’re not even in the states.”

you instantly whipped your head to give him, “hey, too far.” eyes, “it’s still water.”

he ignored you and you two continued walking and watching the sea animals, “ugh, jude, i want one.” you said, pouting.

“an orca?” he laughed, “our pool is not big enough to fit that.”

“you hate me.” you said, dramatically walking off.

he caught up to you, tugging your shoulder, “i do not, and you know i don’t like those ‘jokes’.”

you put his arm around you, “fine, fine, it’s funny to me at least.”

“it’s not fun-eh.” he said, in his accent again.

you giggled softly, but kept quiet as to not annoy him, but he asked, “what’s so fun-eh?”

“nothing, babe, look it’s a clownfish!” you pointed, trying to change the subject.

“tell me, love.” jude said, rubbing your shoulder.

“it’s funny, jude,” you held in another laugh, “not fun-eh.” you said mocking him.

“okay, too far, that’s just my accent!” he whisper-yelled.

“it’s still fun-eh, but not as fun-eh as wa-tuh.” you said, bursting out laughing.

he gave you a “really?” look and held you closer, “trust me, when you meet my family they’ll grill you about your american accent.”
