But this is because Darrow just stops interacting with his heritage of Red culture. In the first saga, the different dances of Laureltide are talked about, but we dont ever really see mention of them again. Darrow is supposed to teach Pax the dances. Darrow never learned from his father, but from his uncle. And he's repeating the cycle yet again.
