they're the perfect version of the "love triangle turns polycule". like even in canon. things that happened with this trio in canon: - one is a prince and keeps skipping out on his duties to go adventure with his girls - the two of them who CAN fly continuously carry the one who's not as good at it around, even later on in the show when she learns how, they still grab her and hold her by the waist or arms - always cupping each other's chins - always holding hands - are always the perfect balance. when two of them are arguing, the third is there to ground them and calm them down - exchanged rings literally the first day they met. not joking. rings that go on the third finger of the left hand and they all have matching ones. - have a magical glow that appears whenever they feel super happy, but only when it's the three of them, not with someone else around, not with anyone missing - when stuck in a cave that forced them to tell the truth, their three truths were "i'd give my life to protect you" "i'd give up being prince for either one of you" and "i really, really like you. both of you." - are sorta implied to be able to sense each other - the two of them that were childhood best friends went off on an adventure and missed their third even though she hadn't known them for that long - they get jealous when outsiders try to butt in or join adventures - always willing to throw down/fight for each other - two of them teach their third all about their culture since she's not native to the land - the same two wanted to see her home only after 1 day of knowing her because they wanted to know her better - slow danced together at the end of the first season, all three of them miyumo propaganda. they're in love. i've written 14 ao3 fics for them and they're the most popular ship in the tag now, ✨you're all welcome✨
