Darrow's absolutely biblical levels of greed make me sick!! He literally want's everyone soooo bad and he doesn't even fully realize it consciously. Like. Baby girl. You did not invite Cassius-your-literal-prisioner au Bellona over to your suite which was just lived in by the now late Roque au Fabii to drink and watch old videos of your times together in the institute because you "respect" this man a great deal. Be so fucking serious with me right now. He's always describing all the traits that make Mustang such an amazing woman, leader, and partner, and why he loves and trusts her so much, and then goes on to do almost the same thing for so many other of his friends but is just like I Just Think They're Neat! Sure buddy! sure! His ability to love and forgive is so all-consumingly vast it's actually beautiful and terrifying at the same time.

If i had a nickel for everytime an author writes a love triangle between two men and a woman and once the love triangle is resolved the two men are still friends but it just comes off as the two men are madly in love and one of them happens to also really love his wife while being really gay id have two nickels, which isnt alot but its weird i happened twice, right?
