THANK YOU. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS. FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT. Besides which, there were people of colour in the movie! Sure, they weren’t mains, but they WERE there.
In all honesty; that in itself is probably as close as Disney would of gotten to historical accuracy without bending it just to fill some race quota.
When an idea that allows people of varying races to be the heroine/hero; then we can talk about how that's bullshit when they whitewash.
