STOP IT, STOP GIVING ME EDITS OF THOSE CLEARLY IN LOVE BOYS FROM MY BABYSITTERS A VAMPIRE, ITS BEING RECONTEXTUALIZED IN MY BRAINROTTED MIND. STOP MAKING ME THINK ABOUT LOURESHIPPING. STOP. STOPPPPP-
Do any of you have that one photo from the XY manga of X GRIPPPING Tierno by the collar and dragging him to eye level I have a point to prove
For some reason most of the Tierno/Calem content in the world is omegaverse
And Calem is primarily shown as a vixenish omega when he should clearly be a beta with a complex over his identity
Why do I always end up micromanaging omegaverse logic on this blog i don’t even go here

Hm it sure would be interesting if I slowly simmered myself into the more emotional conflicts of fear and the way walking on eggshells can confuse the threads of platonic and romantic attachment as long as it grants survival
Looks at Tierno.
Warning and Encounters
Characters:Â Tierno, Trevor, Calem, mentions of Serena
Pairings:Â Tierno x Calem (Loureshipping), mentioned one-sided Trevor x Serena (Vanivilleshipping)
Summary:Â Trevor was just being his usual, worrywart self, Tierno thought, but if he was being completely honest with himself, even he had his doubts about Calem. Â He gave off this vibe, like he was always holding something back. Â Or maybe not being completely honest? Â It was difficult to put into words exactly what it was, but Tierno did feel like there was something off about Calem. Â
Word Count:Â 1,302
Notes: A oneshot I started but never finished. It ends a bit abruptly but it’s technically complete enough to work as is.Â

ANON asked: How do the fankids/parents celebrate the new year/holiday season? Is there Christmas, Hanukkah, and other holidays in your verse?
There would be an equivalent for most holidays in my verse, and they would mostly follow the traditions and practices of their real world counterparts.  The main difference would be for religious based holidays, since, while I’m kinda wishy washy on how religion and spiritual matters work, they would certainly be different.  So there is a Christmas, but there might or might not be a Hanukkah.  There could be, but obviously the story behind it would have to be different, even if the practices remained similar.  Even Christmas would end up being a more commercial holiday instead of a spiritual one.  The way holidays would be celebrated would also vary by region, so Christmas, for example, would be more family based in regions like Unova and Kalos while it’s more of a couples’ holiday in the Japanese regions, much how it is in real life.  For the most part, I defer to how holidays are celebrated in the real world equivalents of each region when deciding how they’re celebrated.
Since this answer could get pretty long if I focused on all the fankids/parents, I’ll instead just talk about the Kalos families since they tend to celebrate the holidays together.  In Kalos, it’s traditional to have a feast on Christmas Eve, and since it’s Tierno’s side of the family that loves to cook, he and Calem are the one’s who end up hosting.  Grace, as well as Tierno’s parents, will travel to stay with them around the holidays, and it’s Tierno and his mother who do the bulk of the cooking.  Serena, Trevor, and their kids (often Trevor’s sister as well) will also celebrate with them, and on a couple occasions, Shauna has traveled back to Kalos with her family, so it ends up being a pretty big party once they all get together. They’ll have a Yule Log that the parents light together and most of the night is spent exchanging stories, gifts, and eating far more food than anyone reasonably should.
Due to Trevor’s issue with his parents, he and his sister would celebrate Christmas with Tierno and his parents while the two were in their teens, thus why they continue the tradition of celebrating together even once they’re both older with families of their own. Tierno’s parent’s more or less adopted Trevor and his sister into their family, thus Tierno and Trevor have a brotherly relationship that carries through into their adulthood.
On Shauna’s end, when she doesn’t travel back to Kalos, she has a much smaller meal with her family, that mixes in some Christmas practices from Kalos with those from Hoenn. No burning Yule Logs for them though, only the chocolate variety for the family to share!
Once the kids are out traveling, they’ll usually travel back home to spend Christmas with their families. Casimir is the exception to this, refusing to return home for the early years and spending the time with Juri and Colm instead (Kyra is often out on a date with Ignis, thus she isn’t around on Christmas Eve). He has it in his head that Christmas Eve needs food though, so he’ll order lots of take out for the three of them to share, eventually making the food himself after they’ve been traveling together for a couple years. He even makes himself learn how to make Yule Log cake since he can’t stand the Christmas cakes Juri insists they buy on Christmas day (and if they’re going to have cake for Christmas anyway it better be a REAL Christmas cake). Later, once he and Hale are dating, Hale gets roped into joining in on Christmas Eve feast night. He’s annoyed that Casimir won’t go on a Christmas Eve date with him, but for Casimir, Christmas Eve is a time to spend with family and friends, so Hale deals with it since it’s what Casimir wants. Juri’s just happy for all the free food while Colm has nothing better to do so he figures he might as well spend the time with them.
Casimir does enjoy the tradition of visiting a shrine around New Years and receiving his New Year’s fortune that the Japanese regions have. All of the Kalos kids enjoy getting their fortunes to varying degrees, but Casimir enjoys it the most, as he tends to put more stock into fate and superstitious thinking then the others do. Casimir will go with Juri, Kyra, and Colm to visit a shrine on New Years Day, and will end up being a bit upset if he gets a bad fortune for the year. Colm always offers to trade with him whenever this happens, although Casimir never takes him up on the offer since no Colm, that’s not how fortunes work, you’ll just make the bad luck worse.Â
