The best thing about the most recent meditation retreat I went on with @innermostyoga was meeting Rich Fabio and that he asked about my necklace. 🤗 I’m always a little excited to talk about my work, especially with likeminded meditators. . Long story short: Rich told me that the pendant reminded him of a torus shape/form and we spent about 10 minutes talking about the shape and significance of the torus. I was floored and getting goosebumps the whole time. . I told Rich that the idea of the form of my pendants came to me after asking the Universe to bring more purpose and meaning to my jewelry and he said “that’s amazing; that this shape was just in your consciousness.” And I sincerely thanked him and felt like crying. . I don’t know why I fear people’s opinions of me/my work and feel like I NEED complements and acknowledgement to feel good about myself ... (just another thing I’m working on). It was a good feeling, let’s just say. I’m always so happy to hear positive reactions to my work. I know there will be people out there that don’t get it, or me, or think I’m lying and I have GOT TO STOP WORRYING ABOUT THEM. . This is special. I am special. The pendants are special. AND it has made me realize how important it is to compliment others. Tell people when they’re doing good. It’s important. . Since that conversation I have been looking in to the torus shape and it’s just mind blowing. I’m looking into ways I could get closer to a true torus shape. It won’t be easy 😂 .
