Today has been a strange (but good!) day.
It started off by receiving an unkind message from an anonymous stranger, which is never really a great start to the day. And while I wasn't really bothered by what they said, it was a bit strange to think that someone went out of their way to write such a thing. But then so many lovely people, both here and on facebook flocked to my defense, and someone ended up saying I was the most positive and supportive person they'd ever met, which made my day.
And then I spent the rest of the day preparing for my body image workshop, which I started out thinking didn't go very well, but by the end of the workshop everyone was really into it, and I got so much wonderful feedback. I feel like I've been able to help a lot of people tonight.
As part of the workshop I made everyone do a pledge to love themselves, and then 2 of my friends who came made this pledge for me secretly and hid it in my laptop so I found it at the end of the workshop:Â
I feel like I have the best friends ever (in case you were confused, Indigo is my stage/pole name) who are so supportive.
It's funny how a bad start doesn't have to stay that way. Today has got infintely better and I am feeling very loved right now.

Well, after a hectic day where my pitch went well but the Q&A session was very grilling, I was very surprised but absolutely thrilled to win the highly commended (3rd prize) award at the Blueprint Regional Grand Final! AND, one of the guests at the event wants me to do lookPositive related TV appearences - eeek!Â

We've taken our first booking! We'll be doing three workshops to a total of 600 students for a school in Cambridgeshire this coming academic year!
We've just found out that we've been the recipients of a £5000 grant from UnLtd, which is going to do so much to help us reach lots of people and teach them to be body positive!! Watch this space to see how we use it to help people change their lives!
