Long training day! First run 1,2 km to skiing tracks, then 13 km very slow skate style skiing (1h 10 min) and then nordic walking/running 11,9 km (1h 24 min), including a short toilet & snack stop at home. I had my brand new @brooksrunningnordic #ghost13 shoes on for the first time and they were very nice pair (shoes from co-operation)! I meant to change the shoes at home but forgot, so good they felt. 👌🏻 Elina @lenkillablogi challenged every runner to pick up masks while running and I did my share today. Luckily found only 3 (!!!). I am training for the @helsinkicityrunningday (postponed to October 2nd) Half Marathon @helsinkicityrun and these long trainings are key part of my training. I am trying to keep the heartrate low on these. Today it was quite difficult in the beginning. My @garmin told me already at the first leg that it would be a day to take it slow. At skiing I decided to stick to the flat course because even the downhills didn’t lower the heart rate enough.
