Food fight
The story here is that the local carrion eaters were playing king of the fish, jockeying for dominance over a big dead carp that washed up on our beach.
A gull would claim the prize, only to be chased off it by a hawk or crow, which, after a few hasty bites, would be deposed by another gull, or, in one case, a turkey vulture.
I figured that if kept my long lens trained on the scene long enough, I might be able to capture an actual moment of combat. As you can see, my patience paid off.
