If only they’d have designed my loft apt. like this. It’s just bland white.
My kitchen is bigger than this under the loft, but I wouldn’t mind if it looked like this.
This is so coolÂ
Just a little creativity- I’m sure that’s not real brick. Love the floors too- they look like tile which would be better than wood, especially in an apt. that takes dogs.

Ingek73 found this lovely 2018 duplex condo in St. Anna, a neighborhood in the city of Nijmegen, Gelderland. It has 1bd 1.5ba, but it's so spacious, and there're 2 lofts. Listed for € 460,000 /$517,100. But, like any condo, there's an HOA fee - € 174.00 / $195.61mo.
Look at how much light it gets. I really like this beautiful terrace is right outside the main living space.
The terrace overlooks your large garden.
There's room for a small library area under the loft, on the way to the kitchen.
Part of the kitchen is narrow, but it's so sleek.
You can see the 2 lofts from here.
The smaller one has a skylight, and it's set up as a home office, but I think that it could be a bedroom, if needed. I would have the floor extended out a few ft. and leave the ladder where it is.
The bath is a good size.
If you only have one bath, it's best to have a separate toilet like this.
There're the stairs to the bigger loft, which is the bedroom.
Two nice skylights and plenty of room.
Lobby entrance to the unit.
Courtyard.
Storage units.
Look at the solar panels on the roof. That's great. Lovely property. I would love to live here.
Came across this wonderful apt. again. It was once a real estate listing in London a few years ago. It’s a 1 bdr. apt. in a converted school and it’s spectacular.Â
This is my favorite thing- the kitchen counter is a counter from an old grocery store.Â
They opened the ceiling and exposed the roof, plus they exposed the brick as much as they could.
The wall of cabinetry is an amazing storage piece- it’s huge. It looks like the tables and a few of the chairs are from the school.
The sitting area is big enough for a sectional.Â
The orange side chair and ottoman give the room a little color.
To make an apt., they built a loft for the bedroom.Â
They left part of it open for a great view of the 1st. fl.
They added skylights and there’s also a door going out to a terrace.
The vintage bath looks like it was intentionally left unfinished. It’s a great apt.
When it comes to decorating his rental, Simon really has a flair. The apt. has a wooden deck and he creates a holiday feeling with bamboo furniture and a braided parasol.
He has a summertime feel in his home all year round. The choice of simple, raw materials and surfaces such as whitewashed plaster walls, concrete and the robust beams against wide plank ceilings gives a peaceful feeling.
Vibrant green, blue and turquoise colors are among his favorites. Defects, wear and abraded paint make the old display cabinet a piece of furniture completely to Simon's taste. Here he keeps his collection of flea market finds and Moroccan porcelain. The giant floor pot is from India.
There is always room for some new bowls - preferably in new colors and patterns.
Velvet, silk and brocade can make an old Ikea sofa found online feel really luxurious! The large round mirror makes the room feel bigger.
The lower floor houses both the living room and kitchen in a single space.
An enlarged opening down to the living room provides space and light for both the upper and lower floors. The railing is a home-made construction of recycled wood and a galvanized grid.
The upper floor has been opened up to give the room an airy feel.
If you are short of wardrobes, you can solve the storage in a nicer way. As with a slightly more real bedside table in the form of a sideboard.
Lize’s lofted studio condo is excellently decorated in modern rustic style. The standard cabinets in the small kitchen were replaced by open shelving.Â
Her dad made the shelving for her.
Next to her sleek cappuccino machine is her grandmother’s tea set.
Her breezy living room area has lovely rattan pieces and long linen curtains.
The pretty armoire is a family piece and her little twig table gives the space a bit of whimsy.Â
Here she’s combined a black chair with a light wood dresser. They make a nice vignette for the living room, but also offer storage.
The loft is so spacious, there’s a step-up walk-in closet and room for a cozy study nook.
She chose muted tones for the bedroom, to create a calming effect.

When Jasmine saw this 800 sq. ft. lofted apt. on Craigslist, she didn’t think it was real. The front door lifts like a garage door, and it’s her favorite feature.
View of the living room from the loft.
It has a lovely kitchen.
It has a nice shower.
But the most fun feature is the catwalk to the bed.
This super-cool apt. is in Tel Aviv, in a warehouse/store that was converted to apts. As you may know, I have a British phone booth replica in my living room, so I’m lovin’ the decor and they have the fridge in there! Also, look at the colorful chandelier.
The kitchen area is to the left as you enter the door, rather than under the loft, which is the space reserved for the living room. Look at the sleek glass & steel sleeping loft.
The bedroom is lovely- the old wall has an elegant mirror hanging- love that combination. And, look at the industrial beams in the ceiling.
The tub is a little tight, but there’s a lot of storage.
