In the liveatfive interview Chris said he grew up w Ben Fankhauser and Corey Cott and I did a double take bc WHAT?
Okay so I did a little bit of research before answering this question. Not a lot, so please correct me if I got this all wrong but judging by what I can find within 10 minutes of stalkingā¦looking into the childhoodsā¦ investigating ā¦. researchingĀ these three boys, I think that Chris meant that he grew up likeā¦ idk how to really explain it but with these boys becoming famous and all, and them having gigs maybe like that? Like, he grew up in the same time as them, and when he tells people where heās from they just think of Ben and Corey like theyāre from the same place if that makes sense.Ā
It is true that Ben and Corey grew up together, as they have confirmed that themselves. And given Chrisā proximity at the time to both of them (no more than half an hour apart each which i only researched cause i canāt estimate how long it takes to cross a certain amount of miles) it is possible that he knew them at some point. However, I can only find where Chris went to high school (itās on his wikipedia) which was a private school; I canāt find any similar info about Corey and Ben without delving too deep. But they did live in the same area as Iāve said, so itās likely their paths crossed. None of its been confirmed though (or at least i canāt find anything except of course Chris saying he grew up with them. which would be so awesome like iād die for Ben Fankhauser)
