For all its faults Tumblr has truly ruined all other social media for me because my friends all have Instagram and are all trying to get me on Instagram more but every time I open Instagram there are like fifteen things screaming for my attention and when I get over myself long enough to start scrolling it's like. Where is my chronological dash. Where is the following-only option. Who are these people. Why are there so many videos. Everyone is screaming at me. And then before I know it I'm thirty minutes into scrolling and I haven't seen a single thing that I actually care about. At least on Tumblr when I see stuff I don't care about I know someone I follow has found a new interest.

#Tbf there's no point putting Linux on the script for a scammer #We're not really the target demographic at all #Or really phone-answerers in general tbh #The only reason I didn't hang up immediately is because I went a little insane during covid #I saw scam baiters like kitboga and thought it'd be fun and maybe a bit noble to waste their time #But it turns out engaging with scam calls just means you get more scam calls #You go on the list of People Stupid Enough To Answer A Scam Call #And once you're on the list they hit you multiple times a day from multiple angles #They also sell or share that list to other scammers who don't know or care that they won't get anywhere #So that wasn't the best idea even if it was quite funny #linux #linuxposting #linuxblr
