I wanted to keep some elements of blue in her shirt as a visual cue that Aurora adopts the color as a way of keeping Bobby with her when they're busy working/otherwise not hanging out. The lightning spells were the best I could get to use for Aurora's powers, though lightning is technically a part of her light manipulation power set. And the colors of the bolts here are to show the level of heat: her right hand's bolt is hotter than the other, and she's probably giving a display to some of the New Mutants.
