Marvel Comics has just announced a new five-issue Indiana Jones comic at San Diego Comic-Con 2026. Indiana Jones and the Sword of Pandemonium hails from writer Jason Aaron and artist Aaron Kuder.

"In the wake of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indy’s most notorious villains, including the impossible return of an archenemy, seek a terrifying new source of power to recoup their loss—one that’s fallen into the hands of his former companion, Marion Ravenwood. Now, Indiana Jones has to race to the far corners of the globe in search of a biblical weapon, embarking on an epic quest that will put both his archeology skills and skepticism of the supernatural to the ultimate test!" Indiana Jones and the Sword of Pandemonium #1 (of 5), featuring a main cover by Bryan Hitch and a variant covers by Alex Ross and Aaron Kuder, goes on sale on December 9, 2026.

In related news, Marvel Comics also recently announced two Indiana Jones: The Further Adventures, hardcovers collecting Marvel's Indiana Jones comics from the late 70s and 80s. The first collection contains Marvel Super Special (1977) #18 and #30, which adapted Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones (1983) #1-16. The second collection contains Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) #1-4 and The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones (1983) #17-34.
