( 1minute chess ) There’s no pretty mate in this game. Actually my last move gives away my queen... but it’s lightning chess and he had 1 second left so usually I’ll give away a piece or sac a piece with check to burn his last second to secure a win on time. But I wanted to show this game because I was proud of some of my creative ideas in this game. Specifically the play of the minor pieces and overall less orthodox and more enterprising play. This game reminded me that the real joy in chess is creating creative ideas... not just the thrill of competition and swift kills. I seem to never remember this enough... so I need to fix this... it’s too important to leave forgotten.
