My Case for 1 Minute Chess📜 I once thought 1 minute chess was rubbish. Mainly, I thought it was just too fast to be of any value or to produce any good chess. I was a 3 minute chess player at the time and I don’t remember why I even began playing any 1 minute games. But I do remember that it wasn’t long till I found I was wrong! 😳 The time controls were too fast at first but then it wasn’t too long that I found playing a 1 minute chess game wasn’t too different than 3 minute except you could play some tricks with time that were unusual and wouldn’t work in a three minute game unless there were seconds left on the clock. But the real reason I became a fan was when I realized it replaced my cup of coffee in the morning. ☕️ We drink coffee to wake up mentally and have our brain buzzing! 1 minute chess, I have found, does the same thing!!!😱😱😱😱 Because you have to be on the ball and think fast! And once you’ve played a few games not only did you only spend a few minutes playing chess and you have plenty of your morning left for other things... you think faster! 🚀And thinking faster does have advantages just like having a faster processor in your computer. I found my memory, visualization and focus is much better at faster speeds of thought than just taking my time. There are times for slow contemplative thought... but there is also major advantages to being able to think on the fly.., and 1 minute chess does do that for me in just a few minutes of having some fun before my day begins. 🌝Maybe, you should see if it does the same for you... it may take a week or two of adjusting... but it may be worth it! Anyway, that’s my case for this fast time control... now you be the judge if it’s right for you. Thanks for hearing me out.🤗🤗🤗 #chess #chesstattoo #chessnotcheckers #chessboard #chessplayer #chesslover #chessmoves #chessplayers #chessgame #chessclub #speedchess #chessed https://www.instagram.com/p/BpKES1Nj_Nq/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=2q70jwn7fjn5
