As someone who's incredibly protective and uncomfortable with sharing any of my romantic f/os, I strongly think if you are being made to feel restricted and uncomfortable, it's best to stop being friends with them. i know it's been a while but the latest chapter had me SCREAMING bee oh my GOSHHHHHH
i love it how with each chapter you can just tell that the pythia is continuing to question all that he'd known before, and you can especially see that in the moment where niki goes to pray to kristin. you can tell that even if he doesn't say it, he's slightly jealous that he'd never had any positive experience when praying to clara like that. AND THEN he revealed his name to niki later on!!!! seeing the narrative the former pythia forced upon him slowly unravel as he comes to realize that all that had happened to him wasn't healthy is sooo satisfying. overall it was a very sweet chapter with lovely rainduo content
but then the ENDING went and slapped me across the FACE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WHAT WAS TOMMY THINKING WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED ON THE SUPPLY RUN AFSDKFJDFKGJASDGKAJF

yes!! it's a very slow progression of the pythia starting to notice how wrong things have felt his entire life as he dares to questions things he was never supposed to. the niki praying to kristin scene was completely unplanned on my end, I just decided as i was writing them walking to the cafeteria "what if niki decided to pray to kristin" and it turned into wilbur's subtly jealousy popping up. he's seeing how different his own experiences have been to the deathlings, and i'm so glad it's a satisfying process to read through because I'm balancing so many things rn lol
