#light oatd

Plugging away at some designs, namely some involving entities of the elements. Not sure I'm happy yet with Water or Fire, might try to play more into the snake visual. Also just plugging away at character interactions, do think Death and Sleep would be buddies. The bit up there with Chaos and Fate, involving the omega symbol, was something I found out when looking it up, that an inverted omega means transformation and in some cases a bucking of the norm and unlimited potential. Which suits Chaos, though it made me wonder if Fate should have any particular symbolism. Alpha seems like a good one to have, especially since it heralds beginnings, the start of cycles, a basis of culture and progress. A foundation, so to speak. It's a lot of nebulous concepts, but Chaos and Fate are both pretty nebulous concepts themselves.

Also, second pic is a fun thought about how the entities tend to crash, especially since they're generally always working and downtime is hard to come by. Death tends to crash wherever he is, Time will often fall asleep with his eyes open, the workaholic that he is. Gravity just curls up and snoozes, given that his job has him more stationary. Space is either a cat or his spine has the consistency of a cooked noodle, science is not yet sure. Dark just conks out where he can, ironically similar to Death though Dark's got Space's more ragdoll sleeping habits (less noodliness though, poor guy's back won't take that). Fate and Chaos actually tend to stick together when winding down; it's kind of agreed upon that sleeping is neutral ground as far as arguments. If one of them's out, the other's gotta let them be. Though having a cat sitting on your lap is a pretty relaxing experience, so while Fate's not quite out yet, he likely will be soon. Light doesn't shut down often, but when he does, I can see him instinctively trying his best to conserve and build up energy. So, he curls up. Like a cinnamon roll.

Some first attempts at drawing Light and Dark from Orion and the Dark. Also a fan character named Twilight, who handles the transition between night and day. So, dawn and dusk, though for her it's like painting. She's a bit younger than Dark and Light, given that it took a bit for that sort of thing to actually take place, like you'd probably need actual planets and horizons for there to be a dawn and dusk.
