Is she just so unimportant she's never mentioned?

Is she a classic Dead Mom™?

Is she the victim of the Old Palace Master transferring his obsession with Xu Siyan onto the nearest available woman of similar appearance? The timeline is sure suspicious.

Amy should be kept away from the One Wish Willow at all costs! Not because of her crush on Sonic, but for her own safety.

This is an interesting duo, actually. Why? Technically, they are the same char, but also aren't...

Starting with Raito, they are quite heroic, to a fault.

The first time BaoHuckmon digivolved to SaviorHuckmon was when Raito jumped in the way of an attack to protect Shinji. Raito quickly collapsed into a coma afterwards.

When stripping them down to their bare essentials, I'd say Raito's loyal, kind, and, well, heroic.

They have the second-best Tamer-Digimon relationship, right after Shinji and Betamon.

Unfortunately, Raito also has a habit of bottling things up, which also caused for Taichi to come into existence in the first place...

When it comes to it, though, Raito will spare no expense to save those they care about.

Their usual fashion consists of a hoodie and whatever else they could find. They wear a hoodie even in Summer.

They also hate the beach for dysphoric reasons.

Now onto Taichi...

Tai's... interesting, in that he only exists via technicality.

Tai's born out of a mixture of Raito's repressed emotions, memories, and also lust for vengeance on Xavier (One of the villains).

He embodies everything Raito doesn't want to be.

He's vengeful, doesn't care about others, and won't spare others from harm, if it means getting what he wants.

Despite that, he's kinda still friendly with Raito, even if only because his existence kind of relies on them.
