So as you probably gathered from my game, I love liminal spaces! Ever since I was young I’ve just adored them sm! I also love photography! So with this I have gained a very strong love for taking liminal photos! Here are some of my favorite ones I’ve take!

Yes, yes, and yes! I actually did throw a book at the wall once because it pulled that nonsense on me suddenly in the last third of the book and I got so mad. My spouse-thing was quite startled because in general I am quite mild mannered and very good to my books. So now saying “i’m going to throw my book” is just kind of my shorthand for “the relationship dynamics in this book are unfortunate and you could solve 98% of your problems by being honest and freaking talking to each other openly for five frigging minutes and your inability to do so makes me incoherently angry”
I have never seen Paint Your Wagon but it has been officially added to The List of things which I must get to one of these days as it sounds glorious.
I swear I’ll get back to my Liaden quotes project one of these days. I’ll probably split them off properly into a side blog once I figure out how. I’m ancient in internet years (despite not being *that* old thank you very much) and so I take a minute to catch up.
I do follow her blog and I have in fact read the Yule present. I was super excited and can not wait for May to just get here already. I’m also waiting with faint hope for the news of their altered con schedule. They were going to be at Marscon in March which is (just barely) close enough for me to feasibly go and actually meet them. So I’m hoping they still make it but completely understand if they don’t. Missouri is awfully far from Maine under the circumstances after all.
I am still super sad that there is pretty much nothing for the Liaden Universe on here and for a while I was driving my friends nuts with all the quote posts trying to create some content while lacking any appreciable talent for fanart and trying to respect their wishes on fan fiction.
My first Lee & Miller book was Pilots Choice which held both Local Custom and Scouts Progress and which I read until it literally fell apart. I then duct taped the spine together and read it until most of the pages fell out before it was finally retired in the last year or so. You could say I have a favorite.

Well! Looks like Starvetober 2025 has officially come to a close. That flew by, huh?
I want to thank each and every one of you for a phenomenal Starvetober and October in general. I feel like I say this every year, but this Starvetober really was incredible. SO many of you participated and put your all into your works this year. Whether you did all 31 days, a handful of them, or even none at all, I'm incredibly thankful for your creations and presence in this small sector of the DST community.
Starvetober-at least for me-was always about encouraging creativity and bringing the DST community for a fun little low-stakes art challenge. Without fail every year I'm blown away by how my little thang is able to do that to such a huge degree. My interest in DST may wane and other hyperfixations may take over, but y'all's creations never fail to remind me of why I love this game and this community so much. You are all so, so incredibly talented and fantastic people. Thank you all for bringing Starvetober to life and for making this fandom such a blast to be a part of.
