"God, it looks like Santa threw up in here.â Liz mused, her tone unimpressed as she entered university PE & recreation centre to see the avalanche of sparkly Christmas decorations and twinkly lights that filled what would usually be a stinky old sweat filled university gymnasium. She wasnât even sure how sheâd been convinced to attend by the person whoâd sold her the tickets in the first place. Plus, she was completely and utterly out of her element dressed in heels and the floor-length gown that made it difficult not to trip over her own two feet but at least sheâd somehow managed to drag Phoenix along to accompany her and hopefully make the night a little more bearable. âCome on now-- barâs that way and I already need to sit down and have a drink before I end up ripping this terrible dress off.â Liz told the man by herself, already eagle eyed and scouting where she assumed the two of them would be spending the majority of their night.
