This character interaction seems random, I know, this is how I got the idea... days ago while I talking to my friend Luca on Discord, I felt like asking him if there are any characters he would like me to draw, and then it led to this. He brought up Lemonhope and Fire Wolf but I added Snow Golem in too. Lemonhope came across this friend duo while travelling around the world, it went well. I'll leave the rest of the context/story up to your imagination, I already worked my ass off on this for hours despite getting like 5 hours of sleep, I don't have the energy to think of more. I'll try to make art that I can post more than I did in some past years (yeah, some aren't public, oops). I usually don't make new year resolutions but that's what I'll try this year. I want to upload fanart, original art and more. Sadly I couldn't make anything in January, because I wanted to focus on other stuff, but I'm trying to make the other months different.
I know barely anyone looks at/cares about my stuff, but idk, it feels right to act like I am more famous than I actually am. I wish I didn't lose so much of the fame I had in the past. I know to some people this may look silly to care about, but it honestly makes me feel worse (as an already hurt, traumatised and depressed person) when I put my soul, time and effort into an artwork and then get barely any positivity and recognition. If I try to be more productive with art, maybe I'll grow even more as an artist, regain some relevance and get more things to feel positive about in my life. Adventure Time (c) Pendleton Ward
I don’t feel like the lesson of Lemonhope is “don’t help others” I think it is “you don’t owe anyone for just being alive” or even “you don’t need to live up to other people’s expectations”. He wasn’t a brat, he was a kid that lived in the bathroom because he wanted to be able to make music and then he was suddenly kidnapped by a foreign dignitary and told he was expected to save all of his relatives from a horror he JUST escaped? I don’t blame him for not saving them initially because all he wanted was to be free. I definitely don’t blame him for not staying behind in the place where he was hurt the most. But it could also be a kids show probably isn’t that serious
